NYFW SS15 Trend Report
New York Fashion week may be over, but that doesn’t mean we must pack our (virtual) bags without inspiration for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2015 season. (Plus side, London Fashion week is just starting!)

Jean Piere Braganza Collection 12 Menswear Monochrome

Monochrome adjective
: having or made up of one color or shades of one color

What we are seeing the upcoming seasons, though, is not just a resurgence of black and white, but also using shades of one color or a single color all together. This is not the trend for prints, but for elegant silhouettes with simple solid lines.

Thrift Shop

Anna Sui Collection 21 Fyodor Golan 3
Macklemore’s song “Thrift Shop” may be 2014, but these vintage inspired pieces are anything but outdated. We are seeing color, structure, and attitude reawaken from the sixties and seventies and I don’t think they want to leave just yet.

Lace on Top and Bottom

Oscar de la Renta Lace Lace on top and bottom
Redefining the pencil skirt with lace on top and bottom. The Pencil Skirt is every woman’s staple for expressing her femininity and emphasizing her womanly curves. By overlaying the lace you bring to life this classic lady-like staple.

Flower Child

Flower Power Osklen 3
It wouldn’t be spring without floral! As the sun comes out and warmth approaches during that time of year, flowers bloom as we swoon over this classic Springtime trend. Emphasizing this print on everything from Sixties flower child to clean elegance, this is the trend we would be happy to see year after year.
